Lagganlia Centre provides high quality Outdoor Education courses and more advanced Adventures or Expeditions within the astounding natural environment of the Cairngorms National Park. We specialise in courses for groups of all sorts from Schools & Colleges to business team building/away days to groups of families & friends. For individuals we run an exciting set of adventure courses (including sailing, canoeing/kayaking, mountain biking & rock climbing).  Set in the beautiful and remote Glen Feshie in the Scottish Highlands between Aviemore and Kingussie, the Centre nestles into the western edge of the Cairngorm Mountains, one of the few remaining wilderness areas in Europe,

Activities offered

Whether as part of a full board mid-week activity break or quiet weekend away in the peace, tranquility and beauty of the Scottish Highlands, our activities are uniquely designed around your needs and the outcomes that you want to achieve by our experienced, qualified and dedicated team.

Activities on offer include archery, abseiling, rock-climbing, sailing, mountain-biking, white water rafting, kayaking, boarding/blading on our artificial slope, problem solving, skiing and snow boarding on snow, John Muir Award, environmental studies and much, much more.

We run activities for

Children & young people (groups); adults (groups); corporate clients; individuals including unaccompanied children (limited dates); self-catering guests.

Location

Lagganlia is situated in heart of the Cairngorms National Park in the beautiful Glen Feshie, surrounded by nature reserves, lochs and mountains. Halfway between Kingussie and Aviemore on the B970, we are easy to reach from the main A9 trunk road and can be reached by road from Edinburgh or Glasgow in little over two hours.

Accommodation

Lagganlia consists of a main centre building with 54 beds, and 5 forest lodges varying in capacity from 6 to 20 beds, with a total of 124 beds on site. Some rooms are en-suite, some have shared facilities.  All lodges have self-catering facilities.
